About This Workshop

This workshop is designed to deepen understanding of the research-based teaching progression for Structuring Numbers to 20, focusing on subtraction. Participants will explore how to leverage key combinations and partitions in specific ranges to develop relational thinking and enhance intentional instruction using subtraction as partitions.

Participants may bring their AVMR1 Teacher Handbook and/or Purple book for reference and note taking.
